dat's are like that, only the hp's are better than the low end ones.

looks like i'll have to investigate the tandberg 1 or 2 gig streamers, jeorg
has not had any trouble with them.

i just can't understand what is going on with the tdc-3820 (qic-525 streamer),
it is just a peculiarity in freebsd every where else they work a treat.

has anybody had any experiences with the 1 or 2 gig tandberg scsi streamers ?
is it a ``plugin and forget" type of solution ?
