Did you set the CLASSPATH env. variable to point to the java_30 file?

You also need to:

	cd /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc
	/usr/X11R6/bin/mkfontdir

Now applets should run.

PS: Jordan -- this question has come up a number of times and will
probably reappear regularly. Should it go in the FAQ?
