Hi,
just this much from my side. I'm using the SMC EtherPower 10/100 in five
machines, and they are all connected to a 10 Mbit hub - they always detect and 
connect in the 10 Mbit mode. Never had any problems. I'll let you know if the 
100 Mbit mode autodetect works as well as soon as we upgrade.
