If you could be more specific about problems or errors that occur, that
would be helpful.  But whenever I have trouble with X on new hardware,
I try to install the VGA or Mono driver from the X Windows collection
and get it running.  You should configure your system using "xf86config"
as root.  If you can get that step going, you can start working on
specific settings for your Trident card.  If not, well, you've got
bigger problems than I can help with. :-)
