I just got off the phone with a BSDI sales rep. He had told me a few weeks 
ago that the next release (v.3.0) of BSDI would support SMP. Today, however, 
he told me that things have changed, and they do not expect it until 1998! He 
said they want to be sure it is done right, before they release it.
