I just got a 4Gb CONNER - seems good to me - but then, I'm running a
single-user-play-system !  The only drive I've ever lost is one that
someone (apparently) dropped a ring on - one that you wear on your
finger.  It was a clunky 400Mb IBM - no loss :)
