I'm am running bsdi with appache on a pc at home.

I'm am trying to configure my dns for a second domain.

I know DNS & Bind is the book of choice, I can not get this book
in my area for another week. I have looked and TCP/IP unleashed and
webmasters reference and I still can't make this work.

I have run the ifconfig and the ipaddress shows up on my table

I added to the named.boot
primary BLA.com BLA.com

I copied domain.db to BLA.com (just as the BSDI man said)
My soa looks like this

@ IN SOA BLA.com.

(serial stuff)

        IN NS firstdomain.com.
bla.com IN A ipaddress

In the reverse.db

(last Ip number) IN PTR BLA.COM.

then I run ndc reload

When I run nslookup on bla.com it gives me an unable to locate bla.com.
When I run nslookup on the ip address it gives me a link to bla.com

I did not add anything to the resolve.conf
am I supposed to for second domain.

If anyone can help me with detailed web link on this or just the flat out
answer that would be great.

Thanks
Craig
