Which version of BSDI you are using?
I know on 2.0, you can newfs a 9 G drive, but when you do a fsck, it
fail. However, it works find on 2.0.1 or higher. Also, I found I cannot
newfs a 9 G drive to give more inodes (other than the default inode
size).
