Well, I've got such a problem. When I was mounted 400Mb DOS partition
r/w everything was just fine. But once I've tried to mount another 1Gb
DOS partition from the second hard. Well, I will never do it again, thanks.

My /dev directory was erased and some /bin files. It took me two days
to restore neccessary files and make my box alive. And after all I
still cannot creat /dev/wd0 file so I was forced to exchange my disks
and booting from /dev/wd1, not /dev/wd0.

Resume: DON'T MOUNT >400Mb DOS PARTITIONS or you will nuts with deadful
	system.

Hope some sunny day this bug (don't tell me it is a feature) will be
fixed, huh?

Thanks for attention,
Vlad D. Nebolsin.
