If you're willing to deal with reading your printer documentation a little,
I have a filter written for a Deskjet 500.  You may have to modify it just
slightly, but given that it's an HP printer, even that may not happen.

Just make sure you have your printer manual around.  Look somewhere in the
back for the printer escape codes that enable LF->CR+LF and CR+LF->CR+LF
translation.  (Okay, so the second one is a complete lack of translation...)

The code is commented to death. :)  Read it before you install it.
