I am trying to rebuild a kernel.

I am running a snapshot of netbsd (sept 19). I even tried with other
kernels, such as the 1.1 version and I get the same errors.

When the ld command is invoked I get the error message: virtual memory
exhausted

I tried running the vmstat command but it gives me different readings every
time I run it.

How can I increase my virtual memory?
