I am a first time user/installer of FreeBSD. I had a couple questions
that most FreeBSD users will probably know.

Q - Does the install process prompt you to set the root password ?

Q - Would the 4.4BSD manuals be of any help ?

Q - I can't telnet in as root. What file do I need to change ?

Q - I set up a user account for my self, and would like to be
able to su to root. The console tells me that I do not belong
to the right group. What group should I belong to ?

Q - How do I start the X interface that I configured during the
    install process ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Tim-
