Does anyone know if there is a difference between how the load
average is calculated in BSD/OS 2.1 vs 2.0? I suppose if there
is one, it is probably related to changes in how processes are
scheduled, etc. I've noticed 2.1 seems to report a consistently
higher load average than 2.0 did running the same apparent load.
No big deal, but I'd like to know what may be going on.
