Hi,
I know that this question has been asked to death but I ask again ;-)

I am thinking about using a database of some sort on one of our FreeBSD
or BSD/OS servers as a kind of transparent extension to our Access admin
database. We have used Access via OpenLink ODBC drivers to get data
from Informix Online 5 servers (SCO yuk!) in the past so figure that
ODBC is the go in this case. We have tried the same thing with
Postgres95 and PostODBC but Access tried to use bits of ODBC that either
were not supported in Postgres95 or in PostODBC.

So the question... has anyone successfully and stably managed to get
ODBC connectivity from Access or another serious ODBC user (Lotus
Approach etc) to any database running on a FreeBSD or BSD/OS box? I have
also looked at mSQL and am currently waiting for my beta copy of Raima
Velocis database (sounds very promising... a commercial database for
BSD/OS at last... I know that there is JustLogic but anyone who has used
it knows how much of a joke *that* is. )

Thanks in advance for any responses.
