I have a 14F and had the same problem with 0.98, so I cheated and commented
out the printk() in floppy.c that displayed the message. It only happened on
my 1.44 MB floppy, and everything seemed to work despite the messages, so I
lost 'em. It seems to be cleared up in 0.98 pl4.

I kind of wonder if it's a problem with the 14F or a kernel problem; I didn't
get the error under previous versions.
