Im having simular disk problems also (with a 2940). I have 2 of the Micropolis
4221AV drives on that controller and when I get really intensive disk usage, I
get timeouts and bus resets (usally resets the machine too!). I have now tried
2 different controllers, 3 different (known good) cables, checked termination,
rearanged the drives, etc w/o success. The only things that I havnt replaced
are the 2 drives but they had been working fine w/o problems for about a year
now on a 1542C controller.

Any ideas/suggestions?
