Hi netters!

Big problems with a new HP scsi harddisk cp3325A (2 gig)!!!
After installing the disk into a running FreeBSD 2.1 system
(running with 3 IDE hds) - which was terrible enough for me -
the HP disk stops the whole system when cp,tar,gzip-actions
on the new scsi drive are taken.
Last message is: ahc0: target 1, lin 0 (sd0) timed out
sd0 (ahc0;1): BUS DEVICE RESET message queued.
And thats it. Only a very hard reset will bring the system back
to life.
From a german newsgroup I've git the info that the HP drive
is not able for tagged command queuing.
Well, but what does it mean? Impossible to use the HP scsi drive
with BSD? Or are there any options in the FreeBSD to switch
off the tagged command queuing?
What can I do? Selling the HP drive, buying a Seagate or IBM?
Patching the OS?
thx in advance

berni
