I would tsrongly suggest calling Rod Grimes at Accurate Automation,
(503)667-9409
and take your FreeBSD hardware questions to him.

Hes listed on the FreeBSD pages as far as a 'Who's Who' for FreeBSD
hardware, and
we use him exclusively for our Domestic and International buildouts for
my network. Were an ISP serving on three continents, and have about 30
of his machines in use today. Every FreeBSD server I run, is a Rod
Grimes machine,
and I have never, had even a hiccup with them. A long step from
junk/generic
PC's.
