( I would be happy for comments on this ) If you look at the source-CD (/usr/src/share/zoneinfo/datfiles/europe) it is : Rule M-Eur 1981 max - Mar lastSun 2:00s 1:00 " DST" Rule M-Eur 1996 max - Oct lastSun 2:00s 0 - as the last rules for M-Eur. I have not examined for other Zones although.. And i also assume 2.1 have kept this information.
