Can you copy the fixit floppy to your DOS partition in the same way
that you did previously with the FreeBSD dist ?

If that's possible (say you have /dos/fixit.flp available), you can
then "vnconfig -c /dev/vn0 /dos/fixit.flp" followed by "mount /dev/vn0a
/mnt".... voila !  You'll probably have to MAKEDEV vn0.
