DCD is okay.

Have tried forcing connect speed, changing getty speed, DCE at calling end,
etc,
still no luck.
Can cu to port and dial out okay.
Sometimes get garble when connected, possibly indicating login ? but no
login process appears on server.

Have tried all combos of hw flow control and sw flow control.

Wits end approaching fast

Any more ideas REALLY appreciated.
