Which version of Netscape? Some releases of Netscape 2 required a
symlink named X11 to point to the X11R6 directory; I first had trouble
until I did that. Now, I just leave the symlink in place -- either it's
needed, or else it doesn't matter.

Beyond that, I simply copied the tarball main contents into my
/usr/X11R6/bin directory so I'd have an existing path to the
executables. You've already done the nls/ directory, so that should
work.

Note that if you're installing Netscape 3, you will have to take a
couple of extra steps (described in detail in prior posts) to get java
working.
