There definitely are ATM cards for the PCI bus and there probably is a
driver for FreeBSD as well, although whether it is 'freely' available is
another matter!

Ipsilon (an ATM IP Switch company located in Palo Alto, Ca) uses FreeBSD
to control their ATM Switch.
