There were a few bugs in the 1.1 dca driver which I fixed some time
after 1.1 ... you may want to upgrade to a 1.2_BETA snapshot to see
if the problems with the dca persist.

You can find a 3 day old 1.2_BETA snapshot at:

	ftp://ftp.NetBSD.ORG/pub/NetBSD/arch/hp300/snapshot/960830/

Make sure you read the README file...

ciao.
