If you're willing to spend $100 or so, X Inside has just released
FreeBSD and Linux servers supporting the S3 ViRGE chipset (what the
Stealth 3D 2000 uses).  See http://www.xinside.com/news.html for
details & to download a trial copy.

I've not tried the server simply because I traded my board away to a
windows user because of the lack of an X server a few months ago.
