I'm connecting a LAN to the Internet through a FreeBSD machine
which has ijppp running with dial on demand (the ijppp patched
for IP Masquerading). It works just fine 99% of the time. But
a few days ago it happened that ppp was suddenly disconencted
after 1 second (!). Then it redials, connects for 1 second
and disconnects again, redials, connects, ... until I reboot
the machine after which everything works ok. The logs look
just fine (I only see a "Disconnected" at the point where
I get a disconnect after 1 second), on the Cisco where the
FreeBSD machine is dialing into I don't see anything unusal
either.

I'm using the second version of ijppp with IP Masquerading
(was it 1.1?). Does anybody have any idea what could be going
on here? I'm clueless.
