<puzzlement>. Since your server has two cards, one for each subnet, each
subnet will access the server via only that card. There seems no point
in aliasing the other IP address to that card; the netmask won't fit and
neither subnet will ever try to use the 'other' address.

You mentioned above that you don't want to route between the two
networks; this implies that you don't want a gateway of any sort between
them.

Is there some reason you can't just let the server be accessible from
either side? If you've tried it and gotten an error message, please
specify that message, or whatever actual results you've gotten.

Also please list the netconfig section from /etc/sysconfig, as far as it
pertains to the server itself and the net card interfaces.
