Someone was playing with the idea to create bootable CDs some day, but
i haven't heard anything from him for quite some time now.

The `El Torito' bootable CD-ROM specification is terrible.  They
provide too many crocks for obsolete software that can only boot off
either the first floppy or the first hard disk.
