I have read the recent postings about installing from CD, and they are
similar problems to mine but no one has solutions yet. I have FreeBSD 2.1.5
and an ATAPI CD drive (an oldie, not sure which make, 2x speed). The
documentation says to use a floppy boot with the atapi.flp image. The only
image file of this type that I can find belongs to the 2.1.0 release, and it
can't find the CD drive either. Is this problem for real? Nothing can find
the CD drive. The kernal configuration options cause my eyes to glaze over.
Do I really have to figure out an interrupt handler for the CD drive, or is
there an actual atapi.flp file under the rug somewhere?
