Hi all,
i am having a problem with connecting to my FreeBSD server with a modem.
I have a std.9600 getty running on com1.
The port is asserting DTR as the modem answers when called.
Once the modems connect, that's it, I get no login banner.
If i cu to the port, i get connected, but cannot talk to the modem.
The cable is a full modem cable. Have even checked com port to motherboard
cable just in case, nothing wrong.
Have tried different getty defs/speeds/terminal emulations etc.

Can anyone tell me if i have missed anything, or am doing something
blatantly wrong.

The eventual aim is to use port for incoming uucp traffic. (Another
kettle...)

Thanks for any help, Craig Stratton.
