The POSIX compliant OS and X-Windows GUI will conform to FIPS PUB 151-2 and FIPS PUB 158-1, respectively. THE POSIX OS will comply with FIPS PUB 189. The products will be used to execute and develop software that is targeted for Open Systems Environ.. The POSIX compliant OS shall be on the NIST POSIX validated products listing within 16 months (Telestar Corp. w/Government support will help you accomplish this). The POSIX (C2 & Native) OS shall NOT be required to support the removable media device: CD ROM chnanger, PC Card Reader, etc.. The products (OS and full electronic documentation shall be provided on CD-ROM). Telestar has mfg. facilities for CD-ROM if necessary to accomplish this requirement. The OS loaded on HD with license and full paper documentation. The vendor shall certify that POSIX compliant OS be either native, hosted, or cooperating implementation of IAW of the NIST POSIX Conformance Test Suite (NIST-PCTS:151-2). The POSIX compliant OS shall appear on the NIST POSIX validated products listing within 15 months. The GUI shall be integrated into the POSIX OS. The product shall be provided in the following forms: 1. OS and full electronic documentation provided on CD-ROM. The OS loaded on HD with license. We also need information on modem/fax package, web browsers and telephony packages that conform with POSIX (C2, Native, Any mode.
