Hi,

I am attempting to setup a person's MacIntosh to my BSDI box via PPP. I currently have it connecting
and negotiating a successful PPP conection (via modem), however, once the connection is
established, I cannot ping the Mac from the server and anything the Mac tries to do comes back with a
'name server not responding' error. I assume that the name server problem is because the server isn't
talking to the Mac after the PPP negotiation is done.

I know the BSDI machine is properly configured for PPP dialin service (I have many windows machines
and even a couple of Macs that connect daily with no problem) so I believe the problem is somewhere
in the Mac's configuration. He has MacPPP v 2.0.1 and MacTCP v 2.0.6.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chuck Rose
