Someone from BSDI previously stated in a BSDI newsgroup that
negotiations were underway with Netscape. It has been long
enough now to assume that those negotiations did not go well.

Since I believe all of the other Unices involved are SVR4,
it seems that BSDI is now a porting stranger for new and
expensive stuff. (not too expensive, the servers are all
down to $1000 or so).

I think everyone has to make their own conclusions.
