You normally don't need more than 2 of these - for debugging net traffic
anyway.  How many interfaces have you got ?  If you've got say a LAN and
a ppp/tun modem, you'd only ever need 2.  If you've got 5 LAN cards a
loopback a serial and a paralell "network" device, you may need 8 -
depends !
