I'm running ipop3d 3.3 with the IMAP client on my FreeBSD 2.1.5 system.

I can no longer retreive my mail with Netscape, because I get a "Kiss of Death"
message, and it asks me to enter a new password. I can't get past this.

I turned debugging on and get this message when I check my mail:

Aug 27 15:49:48 nova ipop3d[1656]: Login user=pieris host=my.pc.name
Aug 27 15:49:49 nova ipop3d[1653]: Kiss of death user=pieris host=UNKNOWN

The pop daemon is also taking huge chunks of processor, swap, and disk time.
