> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~please keep in mind that when some idiot spams the newsgroups
with some get rich quick scheme,
the hard working administrator is unaware. When you retaliate
- you harm the innocent admin - not the idiot who sent the
message. We had a similiar incident here recently. I was
impressed by the reactions of other administrators. They
properly sent mail to postmaster@domain.com explaining that a
spam had occured from this site and referred to, or included
the article. The offending employee was released.

I believe notifying the administrator is the proper spam
etiquette.
