Is there a patch for the 3c509 ethernetcard thats improve
performance. I am running FreeBSD 2.1 on a HP Vectra with 166Mhz
Pentium. I messured performance using ftp and noticed a difference in
speed depending of the direction of the file-transfer, about 100 kbs in
one direction and 700 in the other. The plug and play is disabled and i
have checked the IRQ and memoryadress.
