Could somebody please post me the FreeBSD FAQ or explain to me exactly
how I could go about installing FreeBSD with the following in mind:

1. Attempted to install by ftp, but for some reason (prolly some network
thing, I don't know, I'm a novice) it was unable to even resolve the
server (pretty sure everything was entered correctly, except hostname,
which I was confused about).

2. Attempted to install by stiffie, but the installation was unable to
find the bin files, although we had them on the disk from the ftp site
/bin dir. Is it necessary to have the install.sh, bin.mtree and umm.
that other non bin.?? file on the first disk? ie: /bin.aa
						/bin.ab
						/bin.ac
						/bin.ad
						/bin.mtree
						/install.sh
Umm, I'm pretty sure we did everything right and attempted several
different things. Is it necessary to rawrite the /bin files onto the
stiffie? If so, its going to be painstaking considering I'd have rawrite
about 72 files one at a time (can't rawrite multiple files, right?).

That's about all I can remember, help would be appreciated, please reply
to the address: nana@sideburn.udw.ac.za
