Except you gotta disklabel(8) the slice again whenever FreeBSD comes
up, and mkswapfile(8) it in Linux every time you boot Linux.  However,
it's feasible to do this from the rc scripts, i once did it.  (I've
bought a second-hand harddisk for my notebook, and it came with Linux
installed from the previous owner.)

I think you also have to modify the `sytem signature' in the fdisk
slice each time.
