First off your talking to a UNIX/FreeBSD novice. So if I sound like I'm
clueless then hey! I am<g>..

Anyway I get the boot disk and boot and it likes my machine, I do all the
things it asks and it starts the huge ftp download for the install from
ftp. All goes well and I get bored watching it so I go away for awhile. I
come back and it has finished but my ISP timed me out and disconnected me.
I'm at the sysinstall where it asks about setting up Samba. The first
screen locks up since it cannot get the files because I'm disconnected.
DEBUG tells me this. I try various, probably foolish, things and eventually
I lock up and reboot. The system boots fine (? tell me its fine and I don't
need to start over) and so I type /stand/sysinstall, after logging in as
root, and up comes the install. All seems OK except I cannot seem to figure
out how to tell it my nameserver and TCP info. I can get into ppp and run
it but without this info it doesn't do me any good.

So...
1. After screwing up the install is it salvageable or should I start over?
2. If it can be salvaged is there anything I should do besides get ppp
working?
3. How do I reenter the nameserver, gateway etc. info to make ppp work?

Any help would be welcome,
Zell
