We have accidentally removed (good old rm command!) the /boot, /bsd,
/bsd.orig and /devfd files from the root of our system (BSDI V2.0 running
on Intel platform). While the system is still running we're going to have
big problems when it eventually goes down. Is there anywhere we can get
these files? I can't go to BSDI directly as the entire system is provide
by our ISP and thus we didn't purchase the OS ourself. Our ISP is
looking into what they can do but I though someone here could provide the
files quicker. Are these files specific to a particular installation or
are they the same for all V2.0 hosts? I'm just wondering if it's as
simple as getting someone running V2.0 to send them to me? Any
assistance would be greatly appreciated.
