The answer to your question is the whole point of thread. Matrox has
not released the specs so that a XFree86 server can be written.

There's no way to get it done right now. If you want X for the Millenium
then you need to purchase a commercial X server for it. Accellerated-X from
X-inside is recommended by Matrox...

BTW why is this thread in so many newsgroups? I'm trimming. Please do the same.
