Hi Folks,

My system has the following configuration:

Pentium
32Mb RAM
BSD 2.1.5
3Com 3c509b, Etherlink combo card (using YP)

For some reason, when I telnet to other machines or do any kinda of
data transfer across the network, it has been sluggish. I have tried
various means to find out why:
- Connected a PC running Win 3.1 to the same ethernet jack and the
latency disappers.
- I have moved my machine to different places on the network (to see
if the problem was with the segment) and I get the smae
sluggish performance.

ANyboday have any ideas? I keep hearing that it might have to do with
3com cards? Is that true?

Thanks
Vinay Kumar
