I can do a ypcat and see the data fine, the problem is when I add the "+:" yp redirect in the password file, vipw complains about it and won't generate a new local password database. Can anyone tell me how to setup a FreeBSD system to use the NIS database? Is there any documentation on how to build an NIS server on a FreeBSD system? Regards, Steve Stuczynski S.J.S.
