Well I have the dual CPU board as well, but since BSDi only supports one
CPU that is how it's currently running. I do have the 512K Pipeline Cache
module, and haven't had any lockups (knock on wood :-)). I have heard that
in a Dual CPU environment the 512K module has trouble, but that the 256K
module will work fine. Can anybody verify this, or provide some type of
explanation??

I sure would love to see this, but I am not holding my breath..

I am currently running my board in ECC mode, as it seemed like the
best option as I don't believe the just generating the parity error
would be of any real benefit. As it can only correct a single bit
error, hopefully any real problem would really generate an error condition.

: I'm wondering if anyone is using the Tomcat II and can

As mentioned above I am currently running the board in Single-CPU mode
under BSDi 2.1. This machine is one of my NetNews servers, and gets the
tail run off of it. So I would have to say from my side of the farm this
board is looking very good..
