The aic driver (btw., you should have mentioned it, ``Adaptec'' is not
specific enough) suffers from enormous bit rot, it hasn't been
maintained for ages.  Nobody from the active developers seems to be
plagued with such a controller.

Of course, we don't mind you picking this driver as ``your baby'', and
becoming a maintainer for it.  The AIC6260/6360 chips seem to get a
new live these days, so i would really like to see somebody
maintaining this code.
