Nate has already been following up.  Basically, you need to find out
about your graphics chipset first.  I know, many notebook vendors
don't mention technical details.  You gotta bug them until you know.
You might be lucky in running `SuperProbe' (from XFree86), perhaps it
finds out the hairy details.

Just a btw., this guy was Ferdinand Braun, so there's no reason you
should spell it `Brown'.  (Yes, i realize that you are from Japan, so
it's only a minor difference for you -- but hey, i'm from Germany, and
it makes a big difference for me. :-)
