I would assume that the recent FreeBSD effort is also compatible with
BSD/OS.  It currently handles APC SmartUPSen, but is designed to
handle other types as well in the future.

You can find it somewhere on ftp.ww.net.  The author is Alexis Yushin,
alex@ww.net.
