The stuff below is taken directly from my config file for ijppp
and seems to talk OK to the NT box:

universal:
 set phone 12345678
 set authname "username"
 set authkey  "password" 
 disable chap 
 deny chap
 accept pap
 enable pred1
 accept pred1
 set dial "ABORT BUSY ABORT NO\\sCARRIER TIMEOUT 5 \"\" ATZ OK-AT-OK
ATE1M1N0Q0S
11=50 OK-AT-OK \\dATDT\\T TIMEOUT 40 CONNECT"
