Plug and Play isn't currently supported under NetBSD.  There are a good
number of sticky issues to deal think about when sanely handling PnP.
Keep watching tech-kern@NetBSD.ORG ... I plan on posting the approach
I've been working on once I sort out a couple of things...

NetBSD doesn't use the BIOS once the kernel is running.  It should work
fine once the controller is supported.
